I think you've missed the point I was trying to make. Similar to the job of vacuuming excrement from filthy outhouses all day, being a porn star is undesirable work. Therefore, those who do it need to be compensated well for doing undesirable work, and the pay is commensurate with the level of unhappiness associated with the work. I think I'd rather vacuum turds all day than to eliminate my privacy and risk AIDS and other diseases by exposing my blue-veined hooligan to the many pathogens that reside in the prostitutes who work as "porn stars." Therefore, it makes sense that being a porn star would pay better, since the work is more undesirable than slurping up turds all day while driving the sewer sucker truck.
By the way 144001 porn stars make approximately $800.00 per scene, equivalent to 4 or 5 hours work, for most of the known production studios, not what a real movie star makes but you get the picture. -- thetrueone
You're right, they earn nothing close to what a real movie star makes, and they are also denied any royalty payments. Many educated women earn far more than what a porn star makes, and don't have to sell their bunghole to do it.

I'm not sure what you meant by this, and in any event, it's irrelevant. Are you insinuating that I go to strip clubs and/or view porn? If I did, how would that have any impact on the realities of life for a pornstar?

And for the record thetrueone there's a reason I had no idea that female in the video was a porn star. Not that I or anyone else posting on this thread cares what you think but I found it interesting you'd assume such things that are inconsequential to the topic.
