but do you sometimes think that Americans don't realise there are other time zones .... do some think that when they go to bed, the whole world goes to bed

    Mucho take it easy, friends.

I assumed the JWN server was located somewhere in North America but I could be wrong. But if one wanted to establish the terms "day crew" and "night crew" for the sake of a silly discussion, would it not be reasonable to view time from the perspective of the server's time zone?

Didn't realize it would cause a stir. My apologies, friends on the bottom hemisphere. :-D (I'm kidding there as well. I realize north being on "top" and south being on "bottom" are arbitrary directions.)

How about this: Cheers to all friends not in North America and/or the server's time zone and/or my own time zone. or

Cheers! The sun is out and it's nice outside, about time to go out and throw the baseball with my 5 yr old. BTW I worked last night but not every night. I had a commercial job to do, so last "night" was my "day" so I should go to sleep but I'm "all jacked up on Mountain Dew" and coffee!

ah but when you americans go to sleep, we wake up!

so our night shift is your day shift and when you go on to night duty we start our day duty

so sometimes at the end of our shift we have to bump our threads so that the new day shift take notice...

when i get into the evening time you have all gone to sleep...well some of you must stay up...

and to complicate things, this is the second fastest moving forum i have ever been on!

    cheers all!

Well, I did go to sleep and then woke up and yelled at the kids to get the dishes done. It's 12 midnite now and I'm going back to bed.

Little after 6pm here... overcast (and has been for a week at least) but at least it's not raining.
