There is a group on Facebook called 'The End is Nigh [this time we really mean it]', in which exjdubs discuss similar Jw hysteria.
The 'end is so very close'. It has been since I was 3 and my mom had to hurry into the witness ark of salvation for our lives were at stake. That was 1958/59. I have a feeling the end is precisely as close now as it was then.

As the whole concept is based on a poor work of fiction, "John"'s Revelation, it simply ain't gonna happen.
I think you could make a better fist of predicting things if you did some eisegesis on the Harry Potter books. All sorts of symbolism in there, if you interpret it properly, as people like Obves and Larsinger have the skill to do, you could come up with a really convincing prediction or three.

Conflict is only part of the signs of the end there should also be the fall of Babylon the Great and the call of peace and security. Wars do not always replace bad regimes with good ones. They do not always end in peace. The anger is being directed towards authority figures not religious ones so it is not strictly following the prophecy. The problem is that witness have been whipped up to expect something to happen and are looking at recent events as the sign.
If WW2 wasn't the sign with millions of deaths then how can these scattered conflicts be THE sign of the end of the end.

As a result of world conditions we might all get blown to smithereens but not because of the big 'A' (after all they're still overlapping).

the problem is their timeline and event schedule is all out of sequence;
1) Completion of the world wide preaching work pretty much done there are no new untapped nations going to accept their message, the Chinese are too interested in making money to care about their stupid message and 30,000 in India is a pathetic return for over a billion people.
2)The time they declare "true peace and security" destruction to be upon them, came and went in 1986,nothing else happened failed prophecy end of
3) The Government's turning on religion; they have enjoyed far more freedoms growth and relative success globally then they could have ever conceived or dreamed of, they have ripped on Governments world wide with their charitable status, and the events in the Middle East and North Africa have no real bearing on them as they have minuscule presence in those nations, simply put it wont happen.
Millions of them will die old,grey and disappointed.
