They are a very dangerous cult and have far more power than you may think.
They will lie there way out of any situation to your disadvantage.
They have very little interest in what they call the truth.
Elders and above for the most part are just on an ego power trip.

My daughter. I will not risk her life over a Mosaic dietary law. I will not let her fear her father's or my destruction at Armageddon because we refuse to have anything to do with this religion. I will not influence her to rejoice over the death of millions of people. I will not teach her that she is a sinful, second-class person deserving of death and the only worthwhile thing she can do with her life is peddle magazines 70 hours a month.

They are a dangerous mind-control cult and I won't let them rent space in my head anymore.
Among my reasons:
I couldn't sit there knowing it's not the actual "truth" without coughing out "Bullshit!" when I hear it.
