If an 89 year old woman can pioneer, why can't you slackers and bums do it?

My wife's granny is 89 and is so happy to go out in service but she doesn't even remember half of her kids. It's like wtf!!! A person can't recognize their family members of where she is but still wants to go out in service? And she loves it! Talk about indoctrintion!!!

They used to have experiences of African women crossing crocodile infested rivers to attend meetings. They seem to love causing guilt trips.

One sister who stopped pioneering for health reasons was able to resume at age 89. She had not been in the hospital for over a year and felt that her health would allow her to pioneer again!

    Probably another made up story

I remember an elderly pioneer sister decades ago, that I worked with some quite a bit, she fell asleep during all my Bible Studies.

It's the same guilt trip they have always used. It right up there with the african sister who crosses the crocodile infested river to get to the meeting.

The dilemma is this: who will take the responsability of taking the 89 year old sister out everyday?? Someone has to step up to the plate and "babysit".

There is a very old brother in my area. He is out every single day. He does not drive and is very bossy. Dubs shudder when its their turn to pick him up. No offence to seniors but he has become a burden on others.

This mythic 89-year-old woman is like the earth that's on the brink of ending: Always threatening to but never quite dying.

Recently, I visited an elderly JW lady in hospital. Among her myriad of physical ailments, her biggest regret was that she can't participate in Field Ministryâ„¢ anymore. I thought of this thread while I was sitting with her. This poor disabled woman psychologically beats herself up over it because of these 89 year old dames who can Pioneerâ„¢.

    How effing sick is that???

That's how the WTS "looks after widows in their old age". Damn bastards.
