I think maybe you're a college student taking a first semester in either critical thinking or formal logic and you're doing an informal survey to see if the average person can spot obvious logical fallacies.
Okay. What you have posted above is an example of hasty generalization. That is an inductive fallacy where something that is true of the subset is imputed to the set. In other words, what is true of the sample is assumed to be true of the whole.
In social commentary, it usually takes the form of a sweeping conclusion based on statistics that do not accurately represent the populaton as a whole
