    Hi Paula,

I'm so sorry to hear you are having a bad day today. I know what you mean about being able to actually see someone in person who wants to talk about the types of things we talk about on here. I am in NZ, otherwise I would give you my number and you could call me. Hopefully someone on the board lives close to you and might offer the same.

thinking of you xoxoxox and sending a BIG long distance Hug xoxoxox

The internet brings us all closer. There are times when we all feel down, for those of us brought up in the madness you have useless phone numbers in your head, people you can no longer call and can ask for help. It takes time to rebuild and find friends. What I found in the witness world is that once you move out of a congregation people you have known for years become more distant and it is hard to keep in touch. You socialise more with your home congregation. However what I love now I am free is that I have friends everywhere it means that I have to make more of an effort but it is worth while.

We had a party this weekend and people travelled to come, and it was such a happy day for me after all the stress of being df'd earlier in the year. We are all in a similar position and get it totally this time last year just starting to fade I did not know any of these people at all except through this board. Paula it does get better and there are good friends out there. where abouts are you?

Thanks Nugget, Im in South Wales, UK. Live in an isolated village really, about 10 miles from the nearest town. Its a valley, and very beautiful, and I do appreciate the quiet life, but it can drive you crazy at times. Im also phone phobic, this will sound crazy.....I had to get rid of the phone because I became terrified everytime it rang, that it was bad news like someone had died etc...its part of my anxiety disorder. I do have a mobile, and can text though.

I appreciate that you and so many others have been in a similar situation to me, and it gives me comfort that things will get better. Thanks for your support.

    Much love, Paula x
