What difference does it make, is our every day life dependent on knowing the answer? What came first, the chicken or the egg?

Well, 1975, the difference it makes is that it's all about being presented with this story as fact to convince you the Bible is factual to convince you of the existence of God and that he has no problems wiping out all mankind so you better join our cult or your eternal salvation is destroyed. In a nutshell, it's all about being lied to; about the credibility (or lack thereof) of the Bible and the religionists.

Yeah, so, how did the kangaroos make it to Australia and only Australia again?

@heaven, Good point, Noah could not have made it to AUS to collect kangaroos, but my own view of a localised flood, he did not need to ,since all human creation, according to the bible, lived in a small geograghical area, all he neede to do was flood that area in order to wipe out humankind. To those who dismiss the biblical account of a water cannopy, your going to have to overturn Boyles theory on Gasses, and the Fact that vegitation is found at the poles and also under the Sahara, It clearly could not have happened if the extremes of temprature found today at these locations had remained constant, at some point the polar regions and deserts provided conditions that enabled lush vegitation.

@heaven, there are hundreds of thousands of creatures spread geograghically around the globe, according to the bible they were here before us. How did they get to there respective locations ? do you believe in Darwinian evolution ? obviously Noah did not take them there who did ? If you believe in evolution why dont we have kangaroos in the Americas ? The point Im making is we just dont know much about the world we live in, your assertions and inuendo dont progress the debate, with all due respect H, thats the same limited rational that lead me to become a JW, Just because most of us here have a shared agenda against WTS, that does not mean I am putting my brain in nuetral again.

Hey prisoner no 6, the collection of the animals, etc. I have issue with as well but specifically my statement was dealing with how kangaroos got back to Australia and only Australia after the flood receded. Australia is an island and very far away from Mt. Ararat (in Turkey). This distance is thousands of miles. Just wondering if kangaroos are really good swimmers and why some didn't remain behind in Turkey or other countries they had to trek through to get to Australia. Kangaroos are not the only indigenous lifeform. I just use them as an example.

"Neutral" is often a pretty good place from which to apply critical thinking. All species are native to somewhere . . . currently more 90% of species are native to the continent in which they're found. Seperate evolutionary paths are the most reasonable explanation whatever alternative it is compared to.

@Heaven , The kangaroos did not have to get back to Aus because they never left in the first place, read my post, it only needed to be a local flood since all humankind lived in a very small geograghical location. !!!!

@ sizemik, Adaption is not evolution, sheep on Islands started to eat kelp instead of grass, because grass was in short supply, they are still sheep just utilising a different foodstuff, I could replicate this eg hundreds of times, with different creatures, on land, in air ,at sea.
