There's a side of me that can understand where you're coming from on the blue collar enviroment affecting your speech and attitude. I did a thread sometime ago I believe, or maybe I posted my experiences from working in Tool/Die Shops, other manufacturing settings. During those years, I was in my late teens to early twenties, and I was very impressionable back then. Hormones were already on fire, and I had got into the bad habit of cursing already in high school. Getting out of the manufacturing enviroment and into a white collar office has improved my attitude and speech. I can understand where you're coming from by wanting the JW acitivities and lifestyle to offset the poor behavior you're exposed to at work.
I'd say though if you were having thoughts of buying a gun, and easily intimidated at work, then I'd say you need stand up for yourself. Even as JW, I've only let nonJWs push me so far before I offered them the parking lot for us to settle our differences. It's the funniest thing in the world when you catch a grown man by himself and get right in his face and let him know what time it is. You don't even need a gun for that. If its too far gone of a situation for you, I'd say get another job and let this situation prove to be a learing lesson for you to never let this happen to you again.
I don't want to accuse you of anything, but there's a side of me wondering if "dost protest too much" regarding your generalization of what worldly people do. I don't smoke, drink, go to the club, yadda yadda yadda........If your depiction of what nonJWs do were accurate, Jehovah would have cremated this planet a long time ago. You'd probably be toast as well considering that you're into pornography.

Wow. What do you do? With the exception of smoking, there's nothing wrong with indulging in the above. Of course, drinking and gambling should be done in moderation, if at all.
The world is not as black and white as you think it is. All "worldly" people are not like the people at your job.

I left because of the idolatry of the Governing Body.
This is a very valid reason for leaving . . . but how do you reconcile this with going back to the KH? If you really believe this then you are simply swapping one form of idolatry for another. Your worldly friends are "idolators" in a fleshly sense as many are. The GB are spiritual idolators . . . do you know which is considered worse? If it's not true worship you are seeking . . . rather, just a better quality of friends . . . on both counts you are looking in the wrong place PP. Expand your horizon . . . the choices you are restricting yourself to are very limited ones . . . why limit yourself in this way?
Also . . . are you going to quit your job as well? . . . if not, your work place problems will still be there. If you do quit your job . . . then why not make one change at a time? . . . and see how that pans out first?
I urge you to consider these things because I don't think you will get the outcome you anticipate . . . and I wonder where you will go from there.
I personally cannot wish anyone well if they are returning to a harmful cult . . . it's just plain wrong on all levels.
Einstein's definition of insanity? . . . "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result".
I would urge you to consider things very carefully.

You have no concept how big the world is and its diversity.
You have stayed in a tiny box your whole life, and that is where you feel safe.
You can stay safe in your little world, that is your right, but please, do not presume to know or even begin to think you understand what is going on outside of your small world. If you did you would not be so glib about how things are in the world.
I use to have a job where all the employees cursed a blue streak, every other word was the F word. it was like they were trying to outdo each other with how many times you could say it. Not only that but a couple of times I had to phsically beat a co-worker off of me.
Some jobs just suck

Hi Philly,
I would encourage you to get a new job OR if you feel you must stay at that job and are truly seeking another friendly environment to "counteract the bad vibes" you are getting at work... then please consider joining another group.
For example - do you like sports? Even if you don't - consider joining a sports league. You can meet some great people and you get an excellent feeling being a part of a team. Even non-athletic sports might be good for you - like bowling or darts. Or how about an arts and crafts club. Make some clay pots. Take a music lesson. Any lesson. Volunteer at a local hospital. Get involved in your community. Join the human family and start doing more worthwhile things with your time.
Don't go back to a cult. It's not good. You are better than that. You deserve more than that out of your life.

Why? What good will it do you to go back there? Do you think that the reasons you left in the first place won't be there anymore?
I would like to say nice things to you about your choice but I can't. The KH is just a crutch for you. A crutch that does you more harm than good.

There is no positives in returning to a cult. It is false comfort/security. There are positives being part of a Nazi group or drug gang, but it does not make it right.
Can someone tell me something about Kingdom ministry school (not familiar with details as a non-JW). I went to a theological school for 4 years and can imagine how amateurish a WT school would be (based on what I have seen of their pseudo-scholarship and salesman approach).
