  Syl.... I will try to be delicate about this, and i promise i will let it go ....

  Im not a doctor or a mental health professional... I cant even spell worth a damn....

  But i am man and can see another man in trouble plain as day. It is clear and obvious that he needs help. Calling him a "poor dear" when he rants in an alchol fuled snit dosent help. It excuses and condones... It encourages him to do it again and again, as he seems to do regularly. He has choices. He has options. BEFORE he drinks and rants he can choose to do something different.

  Syl, if i have a good relationship with him, if u have influance, please use it to encourage him to get help. But please dont excuse or coddle a grown man who refuses to get help.

  Mmmm, thank you, Coco. I just got back from taco bell. An apple caramel empanada will have to do. And I do something I never do. I got a soft drink, a Pepsi. I am living on the edge tonight, baby.

  I agree that you've got to do something. Take control. Make a change. You have to do it at your pace, when you're ready, but I don't think you can keep on the way that you have been, love, and not have this kind of depression. Help from someone in person is a good idea, too.

  I'm at a JW convention with my wife right now. Where else either on the 'net or real life could I go where everybody instantly understands eveything this involves?

  Where else would everybody instantly understand the humor of JW ladies dropping their books on the pavement (Literally) and gaping when one of their own flags down an ugly, bearded red-neck looking guy (Me) in the middle of the street and jumps in his pick-up truck at the end of the afternoon session?

  I participate here because you are all a great bunch of people. NONE of you are losers. Even when I disagree with you or say something that you disagree with it is still (In my mind at least) said in the spirit of "Patio conversation" while I fill your wine glass or hand you a beer.
