JWs often try to wiggle out of their prediction difficulties by saying that the WT didn't set dates and asking for proof they did.
This puts anyone who made claims that they did on the back foot as there are bugger all concrete statements to produce.
The thing is Concerned JW, that what the WT did do was set a lot of time frames in which these predictions would occur.
It takes a real leap of faith to think that John and Eunice from the 1941 book, Children, did the right thing, and that anything predicted in the book hasn't outlived the time frames provided in it.
Look at the May 1975 OKM example too. How many of those brothers who were being praised are still pioneering on the proceeds of the sales of their homes.
How long did Adam take to name the animals? Kids my age wouldn't have time to fulfill a career? What a joke. The Awake cover with pics of the generation that would never die is now a memorial to dead people. There are numerous examples to choose from over the decades.
If your door knocking results in kids missing out on education and even having their relationships with their families wrecked, then Jehovah displays his disinterest in supporting the WT by not showing up to stop them looking like a bunch of fools ..... as usual ....... who is to blame for the damage to them?
