North Anna Nuclear Plant in Virginia was shut down.
Edit: At first they said NY felt it strongest, but now they are saying the quake was in NC. In cleveland, they postponed the Indians game. Some cell phones are out.

sd-7 checking in from northern Virginia. I was in my office at the time and the whole building started shaking pretty badly. I was almost going to hide under my desk and brace for the very end--buried under rubble, etc. But we got out of the building safely. Nothing else has happened so far. Kind of unnerving, but hopefully no one got hurt. It's just I'm not sure that they designed these buildings with earthquakes in mind. Let's hope this doesn't become a recurring habit. I con-dayum you, earth's crust, in de name of our Lawd!
