I don't understand how or why some on the board (even flipper) suggest "many years" were bought with the overlapping generation. They still say soon. I don't think they were trying to create a lengthy extra time period, simply they needed to add a bit of time because of 1914. Just me maybe.

I think this means they will no longer play with matches because they've been burnt way too many times... besides, the internet has kept them at bay... all they can do now is say we're closer today than we were yesterday... and even that will get old in a few years...

I wish I had a recording of every major talk given at assemblies, conventions, special talks, CO visits, and other verbal declarations made during the latter 60's and early 70's. (Hold your ears...I'm going to scream now ;-):
THEY ARE LIARS OF THE WORSE KIND IF THEY STAND UP NOW AND SAY THEY DID NOT PREDICT 1975 AND LEAD US ALL....ALL.....TO BELIEVE ARMAGEDDON WILL HAVE COME AND GONE BY THE END OF THAT YEAR. THEY MENTIONED OCTOBER SPECIFICALLY. I WAS THERE AND FULLY AWARE AND LISTENING. I REMEMBER PEOPLE QUITTING JOBS AND SELLING HOUSES TO PREACH FULL-TIME IN ADVANCE OF 1975. THIS IS A FACT.
I'll stop yelling now, but it really concerns me that suddenly these same JWs have been programmed? brainwashed? hynotized? mind-f*cked into believing this was not the case. Like robots or drones, they all say the same thing verbatim: Yes, some of us went ahead of Jehovah's organization and assumed the end would come in 1975. !!!!!!!!! What????? You didn't go ahead of anything! The WTS lead you there.
But, those that weren't there have NOT been told the TRUTH. Cover-ups, lies, mind manipulation, hateful deadly divisive doctrines....ughhh.

They've been proven wrong on every prediction they've ever made about it so far. 1914,1918, 1925, 1975 end of 20th Century, etc etc
Even they realize that it's time to stop looking so damn stupid, not to mention looking like a False Prophet.
