Thanks Found Sheep - Well according to the docs I am sick but its hard to believe. More or less symptom free at the moment, still working full time, spent yesterday demolishing a wall and moving tons of rubble. Chemo and radio therapy starts next week so the side effects are probably going to be worse than the illness.
Mrs Cofty and I are off to Edinburgh for the weekend tomorrow - early x-mas pressie from our son who will be stuck in Afghan until January. Isn't he a great kid?

Thanks George. Radio and chemo both start tomorrow, 1st session of 25. I'm feeling fighting fit at the moment but I'm sure the cure will sort that out! I am trying to convince myself I will sail right through the treatment. Placebo effect is very powerful and I'm sure it can work both ways. If you expect to be exhausted and nausious its probably going to happen.
80 mph winds are forecast for our part of the country tomorrow so the 60 mile trip down the A1 is going to be fun.
Mind if I share a pic of my son who is in Afghan at the moment, he booked us a weekend in Edinburgh from 3500 miles away - clever lad. Looking forward to him getting home in January.
