Update - Just finished the last of 25 sessions of radio/chemo.

Feeling a bit beaten up, blood test results show my immune system is on its knees so trying to avoid sneezing people and dodgy kebab shops for a few weeks. Also got a temporary alchohol ban as my liver is protesting to the chemo. It better "man up" soon I could do with a drink.

I have kept working throughout so I am pleased about that.

I get 5 or 6 weeks off now before a CT scan to see if any of this has been worth it. I read a fascinating and worrying article by a geneticist last week all about the minutiae the meachanics of cancer. I might post it later.

In Australia we now have a 90% chance of getting and dying from Chronic Disease. This seems to be largely because we are so focussed on one dimensional approaches to health and illness, whereas the multi-dimensional BioPsychoSocial model was put forward more than 35 years ago. At least the government has been pushing adverts such as 5veg/3fruit daily and exercise to try and reverse this.
