  Thanks for all the best wishes.

  It was about a year ago I was in hospital getting a wedge of lung removed - I remember the Guy Fawkes fireworks over Newcastle when I was in the ward.

  I have to be realistic about it - 1 year is "so-far-so-good" but it's 5 years before I can put the bunting out.

  Now I can forget about it for another 6 months.
