    "A Beautiful Mind"

What a great movie! (a somewhat true story of the life of John Forbes Nash, Mathematician, Princeton)

Not wishing to reveal the content, I can only say the final remark by Nash saying "I am here because of love" is so true...

Of all human aptitudes, only love transfixes the horizons.

Thank you Ron Howard and Russell Crowe for such a remarkable movie that has personal significance!

Best movie I have seen in a long time! It is one of those movies you can't say anything about or you will give away a part of it.
It will make you appreciate something after you see it......I'll say that. Go see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A co-worker of mine saw this movie.

He told me that he thought of me while watching the movie.

I don't know if that is a compliment or not.

    Gumby,

He is someone at work. Not sure if he is my friend. I probably
    should be careful of him!

Ron Howard was originally going to make this movie about another man with Schizophrenia who got past the disorder and became a lawyer or something. I forgot his name, it was something lauder I think...anyway the guy ended up going nuts and killing his Gilfriend (not exactly the feel-good ending ron wanted) so Ron Howard made the movie about another man with Schizophrenia, John Forbes Nash, the one Beautiful Mind is now based on.

He neglected to mention a few things, including that Mr. Nash was arrested for indecent exposure in a bathroom (apparantly some sort of homosexual activity, but it was during a time of intense homophobia so he may been railroaded) also that his wife divorced him, and he had a child out of wedlock before he married the character Jennifer Connely represents. SO the story you see on the screen is about 20% fact and 80% hollywood fantasy.

To be fair, it portrays Schizophrenia accurately.
