But asking why in that sense is a non question.
Teleology is a field of religious speculation not science.
The problem to begin with is" the missing spark.." . the force or power the initiated life here upon the earth .
That is the problem for an answer but mutipled by how many forms of life and related things and how many systems in each form are needed for it's progress toward more of the spark, that it needs. Wibble at it's best. It actually means something.
Icky picky wicky brain-crash-fade, Outlaw.
I mean wibble at it's worst. Damn ring!
For you all that don't know my ring theory, simply put it means extremes exist next to each other, like on a ring, not on a line.
But asking why in that sense is a non question.
It's enough that it does work, we don't need to knwo why?
Teleology is a field of religious speculation not science.
I am confident that science will one day discover WHY.
It was that drive to know why that drove and continues to drive those scientists that make the big discoveries.
I don't think that "its enough that we do and it's enough that we know how we do it" will satisfy people for very long.
Why did we evolve the way we did? what made us take this route instead of the same one that other species that share the same common ancestor did?
Why do we evolve at all? why have we evolved to the point that we KNOW we have evolved?
I think this is a much better silly evolution thread than that other one on why the monkeys and apes still exist.
WHAT??
What do monekys and apes still existing have to do with evolution?
