  Well, take a look at the EXTREME disparity between the lax attitudes of the Governing Body towards the Mexican brothers who were allowed to BRIBE PUBLIC OFFICIALS to FALSIFY RECORDS in order to make it appear that the Mexican brothers had ALREADY SERVED in the military...

  And then look at the Governing Body's rigid, heartless attitude towards the Malawian brothers and sisters - their vicious inconsistency still has me puzzled - were they just particularly prejudiced against the Malawian Jehovah's Witnesses? Did the Governing Body have a similar attitude towards the Malawian Witnesses as that of Mother Teresa towards those under her questionable "care" who were suffering and dying without medical aid? As "mother" Teresa considered the suffering of the dying poor to be "sacrifices for Christ", did the Governing Body consider the Malawian Witnesses to be "burnt sacrifices" towards the glorification of Jehovah?

  But after seeing such evil inequalities in the treatment of different groups of Jehovah's Witnesses - It would not surprise me at all, if the Watchtower boys were DELIBERATELY setting up their female followers to be "opressed" - so they can be "faithful under persecution" - in other words, anything to keep the sisters "humble and obedient"...

  Enjoyed Thanksgiving hope everyone had a great day today. My sister in law (who works at Harvard Business School) was over for thanksgiving dinner and I showed her that article. I said nothing just asked her to read it. I wish I had taken a picture of her face.

  She took a copy of my letter, and the article and is going to send it to the women's studies department and others at Harvard. She also is going to send me all of her personal contacts in this area so I can contact them as well. We will see what happens.

  ON the translation business.

  The ENGLISH copy is sent to the country concerned and translated into the target language. This is then sent to another team (or individual) who then translates it back into English, without recourse to the english original. This is sent back to Crooklyn Beth Hell for comparison with the original.

  So I wd say that if the other languages seem watered down it is with the consent and connivance of the GB and their cronies in America.

  They have even ensured that the deliberate mistranslations of the NT are conveyed into the target languages of the NWT. A poster here learned bible greek so he could translate accurately into French, and the Witchtower pulled him off the translation team.

  Dont ever think we are dealing with fools at the management level of this corporation.

  Only their victims and dupes are fooled.
