You know what I'm wondering is what did people like the Manker do before the internet? I mean, we call them trolls, but what outlet did they use before the web? Are they the people that called talk shows to argue for the unpopular and unforgivable viewpoint? Perhaps he's that guy that always cheers for the opposing team. Seriously, what disorder motivates someone like this and how would it be fed before electricity?
In the middle ages would they have been the village idiots or the mayors? I'm not sure I ever met one in person for sure, although I have met a lot of people that just like to upset others and stir up their pain and anxiety.
That said, and back to subject 3 of another thread on the Manker, what kind of superpower would be effective against these destructive types of people? The power of MUTE?
