Preaching can come in all forms. Preaching has to be true to be effective. One type of "preaching" has to do with how we reflect happiness. If a disciple can demonstrate happiness through the obedience to The Word then someone who witnesses it can say to self "I want that too". If that is true it is the reason for confessing the Messiah. I obey HIM, so how I live is on the way to peace. But be careful to believe anyone who promises security. (Which the WTBTS does without saying). Salvation belongs to only ONE. Doesn't logic say that salvation needs security? How can one be saved but not secure or secure but not be saved?

First, you'll learn a tremendous amount if you wish to engage in a serious discussion. There are, or were, some sharp people here, most of them ex-JWs. There is a treasure trove of old threads on a diverse range of issues like the alleged destruction of Jerusalem in 607, whether 144,000 alone go to heaven, the Trinity doctrine. ... it's endless. But if you want affirmation of your faith and the JW religion, you won't find it here. You'll get beat up pretty bad.

JW apologists have fled the scene for the most part because they have been thorougly trounced over the years. Now and then one will pop up and make a feeble attempt to defend this false religion, but are sent packing right away. They've quit throwing wood on the fire because they lose the argument every time without fail. Now, if you really want to know the truth about this religion of yours, stick around, put up with some of the vile ignorance and God/Bible-bashing, and you'll learn a lot.

Thrsker Devil's Advocate troll: Oh well, everyone makes mistakes

Nobody makes as many mistakes as the JWs. And they're not ignorant mistakes. Many of the false teachings are calculated distortions. It's a matter of degree. If Paul might have been wrong about a couple of things, it doesn't compare to the avalanche of false teachings the JWs put forth.

It was foretold: The gathering of the true (spiritual) Israel will not come until the Apostasy comes first. We are now seeing that worldwide preaching work proclaiming Jehovah's Kingdom. 7 million of Jehovah's Witnesses- including many non-Witnesses*- are a part of the Great Crowd who will survive Armageddon.

The JWs are part and parcel of that apostasy.

Oh stop cantleave. Nobody "believes in ignorance". People accept it because they are lazy, self righteous, or too unsure of themselves. Anyone has to admit ignorance to escape it don't they?

And myths? Are you the boss of which history is real and which isn't?

Fairy tales is OK. We should not believe that fairies are real.

Fairies are definitely real. Depending on your definition of course

I heard fierce and bitter denunciations of the UN. NGOs lend their credibility to give the UN legitimacy. It is a bilateral relationship. Being an NGO is endorsing the United Nations. I heard the UN was foul, some beast from Revelation. Nowhere did I hear that only certain UN policies were wrong. Oh, no. the worse org. in the world, far worse than the US that gave them freedom, was the UN.
