  I've already been doing this. I first send the postcards (in envelopes) to friends in other states and they mail them for me so the postmark isn't from where I live. If I get caught someday and the elder gives me a talkin' to I already have my response, "So, as a JW you are objecting to unsolicited religious material showing up at people's homes?"

  I think it would be great if friends/family could "subscribe" to a service where you pay a fee and postcards are regularly sent out to the address you provide. This way the shunned ones might be able to make some headway with loved ones without it being traced back.

  You have some very good ideas nicolaou! Good luck with sending them out and I hope you get some results from people starting to ask themselves some hard questions.

  I've recently been thinking about coming up with posters or flyers to pin up on notice boards in libraries or community centres etc. but I have to admit I feel intimidated by the task, especially since I am a fairly timid person. I think it would be a great idea for apostates of all religions to make their voices heard by the general public. The more people know about what goes on behind the scenes in these religions and communities, the better equipped they are to handle being approached by JWs or Mormons etc. And of course the growth of apostates means the religious members can no longer pretend they don't exist.

  for awhile now i have been extolling the need for an official office of media relations for ex-jws t coordinate activities like these. If i were not in the middle of my own political campaign I would head something up like it.

  If I found a card in my post box with the cover of the 68 awake delivered the week of the special talk I'm sure it would make me think. They said the same thing 44yrs ago?
