This thread has demonstarted how little regard bible-believing christians have for science.

Isn't the world fascinating enough without inventing fairy stories?

Trueone, this is just a no true Scotsman fallacy

Aren't all religions a No True Scotsman fallacy ?

Yan, I surmise you are an atheist.

I could be, yet this has zero effect on the merrits of the story.

In your earlier post you mentioned that you've had a supernatural experience that had made you believe in God even more.

Let me ask you a question, please answer honestly:

If you had a similar experience that assured you that is OK to walk off the edge of the building, would you do it? I am not interested if you believe that you will be rewarded with new life after falling to your death or ressurection for obeying, etc.

I am asking would you walk off confident that the laws of physics will be suspended for you and you will not plummet to your death to the ground?

Your honest answer may even help you clarify the depth of your faith.

Terry why the complicated way to rech inches per hour?

    Mt. Everest - 29,035feet

    29,035 * 12(inch per feet) = 348420 inches / 40 (days) = 8710.5 inches / day / (24 hours / 1 day) = 362.9375 inches per hour

363 inches / per hour is impossible as far as we know, but if God brought down the flood he could have easily done something to overcome the obsticles we can think off. We know that a human cannot bring down a flood. So why do we hold God to the same standard? The question boils down if God exists. If there is no God because of the evidence the flood is most likely a myth. If God exists AND if he inspired the OT then he could have easily done it.

Is like when people say hey if God is almighty why can't he create a rock so big that he cannot lift. Yet the people that usually ask this question fail to see that our usual logic doesn't not allow for an almighty to exist. Does 5=2? Well al almighty could make 5=2 and could also make a rock so big that he could not lift and lift at the same time satisfying both sides of the apperant paradox for an almighty.

LOL. You could believe in a supernatural god that humans can't hope to understand; but when that god is said to have interacted with physical objects such as the earth and humans we should expect evidence of that. It's where the rubber meets the road- and where the Bible fails.

    thetrueone,

I watched the flood video you posted. I do not agree on the year given as the time of the flood. As for the ark's design, it was God's design so be careful who you criticize. Noah simply worked from the plans.

God would have to change the nature of the universe to exist, and there is no evidence that he did. Miracles are never caught on tape or are ever testable.

They might as well not exist.

    Dear God,

Your ark plans are total crap. They suck. They fail in every possible way. Try taking an engineering class, moron.

    Thanks,
