I don't deal with the poison from JW's anymore. I have to look out for my own peace of mind. It's a personal thing and those stronger than me in that area might be better equiped to do as you did.

But I like what you said. I may, in the future, ask approaching JW's (you can see them easily and they are distinct from other groups) if they are the Millerites and then concede after their objection that they are the Russellites. After that, when they say how they are only followers of Jesus, I will tell them that they are not free to disagree with the Faithful and Discreet Slave represented by their Governing Body, so they are followers of a group of men.

Here in a busy city, you never really have to go that far. You start to say anything and they are ready to move on.

Great work oz...it's a bugger that the NGO letter is actually on the UN website anymore. It was when I first saw it...what an impact that had on me.

They just deny it all at pull out all sorts of bullshit letters dispelling the evidence. When you have seen it on the UN Website their letters hold no ground.

I'm amazed that they stayed long enough to listen to all you had to say.

Lots of JWs today leave at the first sign that the person knows anything about the organization.

They assume the person is an apostate or is quoting apostate sources.

At a minimum, they quickly conclude that you're not interested in "the truth", kick the dust off their feet, and move on.

I hope they actually check out some of the things you said rather than just informing the elders, who will put you on their Do Not Call list...
