Have you discussed this with your partner?

The prevalence of anal sex is post Nancy and Ron so no no need to! Thank god for that! I'm trying to evolve to a higher life form, not a lower one.

    Awesome, thanks Cofty!

That reminds me, Where is the best place for people in the uk to go looking for fossils they can find themselves? ideal to take home and research , perhaps with the kiddies ? Any ideas or suggestions? Also if you are interested in doing this elsewhere in the world just ask and see if we can help.

Fossils are awesome, you can hand someone the evidence of a living thing from millions of years ago, something they can touch, feel and remember.

"This is totaly contrary to the bibles account of man being earths first life. ..." Snare&Racket

I'm sorry, Snare&Racket, but the bible actually states that everything else was created "first", and then came man...

However, if you want to have some fun, you can ask creationists how in the HECK there could be "light" on Day # 1 if the sun, moon and stars weren't "created" until Day # 4...

Or how the plants that were created on Day # 3 survived until "god" finished creating the sun on Day # 4...

Or how sea-creatures came to exist AFTER land plants - plants on Day # 3, but sea-creatures on Day #5...

    [snicker....]

Here is a supplemental link from one of my college texts. This is a nice and clear question/answer section on creation and evolution. If you want to check the whole story, and how evolutionists respond to those seeking the truth about the theory, I think it is a user friendly place to start. You used to need a key to get in (came with the new text) but that feature has been disabled for a few years. There should be no problem viewing it.

N.drew, please try to stick to the topic and be respectful to other readers, you brought anal sex into this thread, you lowered the tone.

Have you ordered the book you asked for yet?

"Scottish geologist, James Hutton deserves to be remembered for his contribution to science just as much as Darwin.
In 1785 he published his "Theory of the earth" and presented it to a skeptical audience of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Shockingly he claimed that rock formations had been laid down gradually under the sea over millions of years and then raised up above sea level by geological forces. Cofty ..."

Ah, yes, HUTTON!!! [Zid bows deeply in reverential respect to this giant of geological science...]

That's a good photograph... I've seen those layers in many an article and program on geology's 'evolution'...

Isn't he the scientist that introduced Deep Time, actually paving the way for Darwin? I have a hard time remembering names, but I know that was very significant.

you brought anal sex into this thread,

Are ya kidding? I can't be blamed if someone like a frog jumps from "anal" retentive to "anal" sex. Why don't you yell at him?

And I'm sorry. You got my goat.

As I recall it, Hutton disproved once and for all that the "noaic flood" had anything to do with sedimentary rock layers...

I think that jump-started the geological branch of sedimentology...

Ziddina, Genesis chapter 2 king James version, all bibles have this second contradictory version of creation.

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

    11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof .

20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

    21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
