Many thanks! I would like to know more real cases. I would explain: my brother is very liked in our congregation and in the entire circuit. He is very rich, helps everyone, but his girlfriend is a devil! He is trying to split it up, but he is afraid what can happen if she tells something of this kind (sex) and he denies it (it doesn't matter to me if he did it or not, as I will not squealer him to the elders). How can I help him?
Do you know of judicial committee cases about a bro/sis who denies to have sex with the confessing one?

I have personal knowledge of one case in northern MS about 20 years ago. A young single sister confessed to an affair with a married brother. He denied it vehemently. She was disfellowshipped on the basis that it had continued for some time and she either was guilty as claimed or was a liar trying to cause someone else problems. Either way, she deserved to be disfellowshipped (according to them).
Well this is an interesting paradox. They have effectively eliminated the possibility that she could just be reproved---since her sin MAY be lying or slander. And since she would not be repentant for lying--only for the affair--then there was no choice, since she was possibly lying. And how could she ever ask to be reinstated if she refused to confess to lying---?
Lesson: Don't go against a man in the org! You won't win. You don't even have the 'comfort' of confessing your sin and being healed.

It might work if the elders like him, it is such a good ole boys system. If your brother gets out of this, tell him to be more careful. I feel so sorry for women but your brother can't be made to marry anyone, even if she is pg. He can be made to be financially responsible for the child, but not to marry her. Or he can confess to weakness by an "devil woman" and probably get away with it. elders are so into protecting each other. Tell him if he does this again you will find some guys to kick his arse.

I know of a case where a man raped a woman and she went to the elders and he denied it. They df her for the same reasons New Chapter stated, either she was lying or lured this man into sin (never mind it was a rape).
If no one else saw this anyone can deny anything. The brothers will tend to believe whoever they feel is the best jws. Yes he can get away with it, but he can't stop her from telling all her friends. They can't make him marry her.
if he confessed and pleaded for mercy, they might not do anything if no others know about it. ( of course if she is pg or has gf's that is unlikely)
to put this simply, anyone can deny anything and unless someone else saw it, it can't be proved. He can lie and get away with it if that is what you want to know.

I gave them a disassociaton letter, one of the elders hacked her facebook (made me realize this isn't the "truth" anyways I digress) but come to think of it I shouldve stayed lol

I didn't understand Donutz. Why did you deny the fact if you would write a DA letter? I think the reason to deny is to split up with the girlfriend!
