Sorry, baltar,, that was one of the horrors of my childhood. Getting 'adjusted' by the chiro at every convention (which always hurt, and never helped my medical problems) instead of being rescued from an abusive home. I guess lots of folks go to them, but to me it will always be a JW thing. Didn't mean to sound insulting.
