To me that question is too simplistic. It presumes creation is necessary for being when that may or may not be the case.
The notion of “creation” or need of being “created” is a product of our universe. Because aside from our universe it is unknown whether creation is a necessity for being then we have no basis to accept or reject a notion that a being that allegedly transcends our universe would require creation.
