Welcome. It is good to hear that you are aware that the organisation is somewhat questionable.

I am not frustrated overly much as I have complete confidence in our creator Jehovah respecting that in due time truth will be revealed and along with falsehood, cover ups etc. Actually I think this is happening right before our eyes as the internet is allowing the exposure of years of deceit and coverups by the WTBTS.

Do you really think God would take an active part? The WTS is a completely insignificant religion in the scheme of things, that popped up out of nowehere relatively recently. The religion has a powerful force in the lives of those involved, but a very small portion of people on earth no anything about them. If God cared about revealing falsehood, why not start with some of the more influential of the 35,000 Christian religions on earth at the moment?

There are quite a few here who still believe in God and Christ, but even within that subgroup there are many different views.

Welcome M-007, very nice to read about you and I too am glad that you are here.

In regard to searching for the truth you ask, "Where does one go?" At this point in my spiritual journey I feel no affinity to any organized religion actually, quite the opposite is true, I have a strong aversion to it. And yet, I still feel my 'spiritual' needs can be addressed and met. I see no reason whatsoever to rely on another, imperfect, human being or group of them as the case may to intercede between myself and....God, a higher power, some universal collective, whatever.

So nice to have 'met' you and I look forward to your posts.

Welcome 007; I too believe many core teachings. I think the WTSB is a classic example of " a little bit of knowledge being a dangerous thing". I think the answer as to where to go is more of when to go. As has been well documented, 1914 wasn't the beginning or ending of anything. That being the case, one could make the arguement that God's intervention into man's affairs has not begun & the "last generation" ain't this one. (Most likely the next one either) Until then, I shall Live Well......Enjoy Life. Welcome to the forum.

Good to see thinking witnesses take baby steps in search of truth. As you keep on researching, your views will most likely continue to adjust to the things you learn with regards to the watchtower and maybe even the bible itself. If there is any materials you might be interested in, as in wts books, documets and such let us know as much is in pdf format and can be easily downloaded.

You might give jwfacts.com a try, and see if there is any information that might interest you. Take your time, as there is a lot out there that general witness population has very little knowledge about.
