Leolaia-Thanks! You definitel are a researcher extraordinare! I read portions of the Berta & Bonnie thread, but it seemed to be the wrong time period. Most likely, the person giving the talk was just spouting off something he was told, and as JW's, all trust what is told, with nothing to back it up.

jwfacts-you are very correct. He does agree with me on lots of things, but still insists that it is the 'Truth', no matter what, who or how. It is very absurd!

Wondering if this is the same Bethel speaker that stated in a SAD talk that America's founding fathers originally wanted the US Capital in NYC. And guess where? Columbia Heights. A compromise was made to the Southern states to have the country's capital in "the south", thus the District of Columbia was founded in Virginia. "Do you think there were greater plans already in store for Columbia Heights?"
