I think I turned out okay even though I wasn't allowed to participate ( IN ANYTHING) My non-witness friends tell me they don't agree with not having sex before marriage. When you buy a car don't you test drive it first, especially before signing the contract?

As a person, i think I actually turned out ok despite the "truth." The only parts of my life I need to un-screw up is a family who believes this crap is true and not being prepared for the future.

I am totally sane - my shrink gave me a certificate to prove it!
I struggle with certain things... I can't name them off the top of my head, but when the issues come up, I automatically KNOW that it's because of my upbringing in the cult. This makes it much easier to get past those things, however. I think for the most part I'm doing alright. Like BOC, the only real problem is that I have family still in who believe this tripe!
