  I recall similar discussions too. Such an irony given how we were taught to be anti materialistic but it's ok to want to be rich beyond our imagination if Jah provides it? I found the idea of looting less offensive compare to the hardened vengeful comments from JW's about how the worldly people would beg to be saved but suffer a terrible painful death at Armageddon. "Oh they'll be sorry all right and we won't be able to save them".

  I honestly believe there are plenty of JW's that would have picked up a gun and shot innocent people had they been told to do so from the platform - that kind of control has been exercised before by cults.

  Yes part of the self imposed arrogance of JWS is that they will be the chosen ones who will survive Armageddon and most of the rest of the world will die

  leaving their lavish homes to them. J Rutherford jumped ahead of this by building a lavish home for himself to live in even before Armageddon was to

  occur. Lets not forget that the survivors (JWS) are to let the dead wrought on the ground so the birds and and other flesh eating animals can

  feast on the dead bodies . Isn't religion great ? What a swell thing to teach children too.

  I heard comments like that and assume they are universal. Once, when going out in service in a wealthier area with nice homes, the friends I was with made a remark along the lines of how "these people are having their reward in full". They had something against rich or wealthier people. I wondered to myself if the persons had made their money honestly, why shouldn't they enjoy the fruits of their labor?

  In general I consider the JWs to be the most jealous and covetous people I ever met. They would put a lot of so-called worldly people to shame! It is unfortunate that by following the tenets of their religion so many of them deny themselves nice things (it is no sin to like or have nice things). As a result, they are like hungry children with their nose pressed to the window of a store with goodies in side - but they can't go in!

  As far as having nice things, some of them don't want to wait that long (which I can't blame them). Just stop all the pretense. Waiting wasn't good enough for Rutherford!

  The entire notion of armaggeddon is simply vile. Sick thoughts for sick minds.

  I have heard those comments before. I can only suggest that the comments are made by sub human arseholes who have very little inteligence, emotion or love in their heart.

  My mom salivates at the thought of the killing of her own non JW family in Honduras ... including her non-JW children here in USA ... she will gladly help ... actually she has stated in the past that she cannot wait for us to be killed ...

  Not that I believe any of the Big A stuff any more, but if it did happen, with mainly unqualified, uneducated JW's surviving, life would be back to the stone age within a fortnight.

  It's all very sad I've heard those same things but what really got me one day was a conversation I had at the KH with an elders "very spiritual wife". i expressed my unhappiness with the death of billions and her response was "I don't care just so long as I get everlasting life". I must have looked surprised because I found out later at a meeting with two elders who were trying to decide if i was an apostate that she was one of the persons who had reported on me.

  The whole Paradise Earth doctrine in the way it is taught by the WTS is so counter the belief that god is a loving god, especially the way they portray the big A in the magazines, fire, explosions and all sorts of other horrific things, the deaths of the 7B non JWs will not be merely falling asleep, they are portrayed as being terrible, I guess this is their version of hellfire, you will not be sent to a place of eternal torment, but if you don't get in line and become a jw, you will have a horrific death.

  Doedsnt it ever occur to them that the Terminator God they worship could simply will those 7 billion men, women and children out of existence, or just vaporize them? No need for a messy cleanup.....
