Last night my wife and I partook: A beautiful cabernet with a french loaf (yes I know it was leavened), they went well with the Short Ribs & Potatoes.
Afterwards we watched A Room With a View.
Few things are as romantic as Florence, Italy.

The "partakers" number will be mysteriously lost in the shuffle as those stats migrate to the Internet. Practically guarantee it.

I just have a feelingthat much as we love it, for the wriggling they have to do to explain it, that the number will not rise by many , if at all this year.
If I am right, I will explain why it is so, even so, just over 12,000, 12,200 say, may happen. But this is not ahuge upward trend even so, and I think we may see virtually no increase on 11,800.
Let's wait and see.

They’re just leading you to believe this lie so you'll stop asking, or thinking it matters. Why?

The total count reported each year is entirely in the hands of WT headquarters. Each congregation electronically sends in their # of attenders and partakers that very night, so they have the total already.
They could (and may already) make up any # amount they want. It could gradually start to go down again soon if they wished.
So why would they allow the partakers # to rise?
1. They are actually honest with the figures.
2. There is some unknown reason they would want for the number to go up.
3. They are already fudging, and the actual increase is even more.
Since #2 seems impossible, #3 is a "too little too late" kind of measure, so IMO it stands to reason that they are not faking the count numbers.
