When local gangs of black teenage thugs in St Louis make the TV news for their repeated "knockout" robbery attacks on citizens, the reporters can't even use the word, "black" in their reporting, but when a black person is the victim of a white person in a crime, then race seems to always get mentioned.

Band on the Run
Folks, a black teenager is dead under circumstances that hint racism was involved. If this were the only case of racism, no big deal. Sadly, there is a long legacy of racism in this country. Lynchings were more common than due process in the South. Anyway, the court process is going to be more dignified than every commercial huckster pretendidng to care about Trayvon but happy that they are reaping increased ratings.
Piers Morgan, Drew Pinsky, the usual circus. The same people who stirred up people against Casey Anthony. The jury will have more to say than the media. Of course, the prosecutor will become a national figure.
The usual crowd rushed to judgment and the view that would please the crowd.
I have not heard the evidence. If I watch truTV or Nancy Grace, I will not be present in the room. I will not be sequestered.
I am bit surprised she charged second degree murder b/c the burden of proof is so high. There may be more justice in a manslaughter conviction that may be easier to prove.

Band- I thought manslaughter was going to be the prosecution's claim also but maybe at trial stalking and pursuit will be evidenced.

wha happened?
I think what got Zimmerman was his comments. Not the infamous F%^king coons comment. It was when he started to spout about the people in the area.
"During the recorded call Zimmerman made reference to people he felt had committed and gotten away with break-ins in his neighborhood. Later while talking about Martin, Zimmerman stated 'these a**holes, they always get away," and also said 'these f****** punks.' "
