But the sun is finite. Had a beginning, will have an end... and there are many other suns in the universe.

This makes Sab's argument even more convincing. History has an endless parade of gos and godesses that had beginnings and ends. One could say an entire universe full.

So, was the OP question satisfactorily answered? The endless speculative abyss of Sab may well provide hope in non-exhaustible fuels after all.

Is the inaction of God favoring evil? If God exists, then yes, IMO, it seems like callous indifference.

Thank you! I really try to be, there's so much information out there it's overwhelming to try to put a working theory together that Cofty wont laugh at. I am currently working on Mormanism which is truly facinating. I have some LDS missionaries coming to my house to help me with their doctrine on Wednesday night, should be interesting. They believe in the Heavenly Council which, to me, seems to be connected to Revelation's "7 stars" and other parts of the Bible.

"The role of the divine assembly as a conceptual part of the background of hebrew prophecy is clearly displayed in two descriptions of prophetic involvement in the heavenly council. In 1 Kings 22:19-23... Micaiah ben Imiah is allowed to see the Council in action in the heavenly decision regarding the fate of Ahab. Isaiah 6 depicts a situation in which the prophet himself takes on the role of the messenger of the assembly and message of the prophet is thus commissioned by Yahweh. The mythological depiction here illustrates this important aspect of the conceptual background of prophetic authority."

The video in the OP speaks about rape and murder. Both of those are human problems with human solutions. Why would the First Cause intervene when his creation can and wont? Plus how can you prove God is not acting in a way you don't know or understand?

Because it's condemned in his word and yet it still happens every day, and it he were intervening he would look very inept. I'm certain that God would have a bigger ego than to employ non-effective measures that haven't worked over all these centuries. The fact that it is no better is proof that God is not acting at this time.
