Absolutely disgusting. The fact that he was a KNOWN affender!!! and they let him take a child into the loo!!!! fucking crazy man. I would report that to the police.

Protecting children from pedophiles, 60% of them are relatives or family friends, close neighbors. I knew a known pedophile jw at the KH who was stalking one of his victims but no one called the police. Everyone thought it was the elder's responsibility or only the ones in his congregation. I called his probation agent (this violation could lead to being in prison instantly) and he talked to this man and he backed off, but the elders complained that the authorities had been called. The sisters were happy though I also turned in a known pedophile at work who had already formed a "friendship" with a single mother with a pre-teen daughter (his type). He did go to prison again and finished out his sentence.

So speak up, especially since this is a known pedophile in the legal system.

There are sad stories of second generation victims, pretending nothing happened, even though they are plagued with anxiety, depression and their weight goes from 140 to 250lbs, you can see the pain in their eyes, what can any elder do? The Watchtower Society is putting up the barriers to proctect themselves from legal battles, lawsuits and bad publicity. This Organization will avoid at all cost, trying to deal with the after effects of sexual abuse, they will never offer counseling, or recommend a psychologist to their victims.
