    YoYo:

I don't think they are undermanned.

    Check this link: http://dmoz.org/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Christianity/Denominations/Jehovah%27s_Witnesses/Personal_Pages/

All the links in there are by JWs or Publishers (if you will). If there are that many publishers who can create webpages, then why not have them help out the WatchTower website. It's not an issue of being undermanned.

It is more of the following issues:
    - Not to reveal the articles so as to have everyone buy the Awake or WT magazines. Otherwise, everybody will get them for free on the Internet.
    - The WT still want and order all the publishers to do Field Service rather than take the time to learn the technologies.
    - The higher-ups out there in the GB are old enough to be retire and be part of the AARP. These old folks will never want change even if it is for the better due to their pride and arrogance.
    - Finally, The mother of all issues is $$MONEY$$. From that ultimate reason hangs all the other issues. The Scrooges and Tight-Wallet in the GB won't want to spend to make changes for the better. They still want the income from the WT and Awake subscriptions. Money that other folks will spend on learning how to set up a webpage is money better spent on goin' door-to-door, buying WT CD's, subscribing WT and Awake magazines and donating the WT Society.

    Mr. Yo Yo,

Now, how much can we believe from your posts. You had 10 accounts with very different personas. Simon was merciful enough to leave this acount open for you. So, we have to conclude that you are a deceitful trouble maker, now don't we?

Within the context of this thread you show several signs of duplicity. First off, my analysis brought panic to your heart. You had to come back with a defense, albeit a weak one. Later on, when someone challenged your statements, you said that you "only posted an opinion, not a fact." You did post a fact, not an opinion. You said that a year ago you met with the JWs who were working on their web site. That is not an opinion; that is a statement of fact. Now, right after your "opinion" statement, you stated something else as fact, the difficulty of the young getting aproval from the 60-70 year olds. This was presented as a declarative statement, not as an opinion.

My opinion? You are a trouble maker and a fraud.

An alternate way to search the watchtower.org site is to use Google advanced search. This example will help you: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&as_qdr=all&q=generation+1914+site%3Awatchtower.org&btnG=Google+Search

helpful with computer problems? having birthdays? announcing birthdays? You must have me confused with someone else, because I have never done this.

Yes, Simon was merciful. He's a good guy. But obviously you're not Outlaw, all you do is insult without being provoked.

Larc, I did express only my opinion based on those two facts. You did not alarm me with your comment, I was only trying to point out that not everything is a conspiracy. I am sure many appreciate another view to the conspiracy theories that fly around in this forum.

    Yo Yo,

I will tell what the conspiracy is. The official Wt site has a dishonest search feature set up by dishonest men so that the public would get dishonest information to be defended here by a dishonest person.

HS: I often wondered why the bOrg seems so willing to give ample room to technical amateurs: whether it's in construction, electronics (sound systems anyone?), CAD/CAM, computers etc. I've seen many an occasion where pretty solid and sage advice from professionals was ignored so utter profoundly that at that time it made me decide not to get involved with any such things anymore.

And all that apart from interference of commercial interests: the cases where some "brother's" business involved in purchasing and installing the required stuff, be it lighting, alarm systems, cabling, mikes, amps, speakers, gardening, etc.

It made me wonder when I read their boastful yearbook stories about MAN, Heidelberg, Linotype and Heller (and what other postwar German Wirtschaftswunder-companies you have) are more truthful in that respect. Personally I've zip experience in largescale industrial printing but some here may have had to do with it in their pasts. Care to shine a light?

Yoyo! Who moved your rock? You still owe me some answers I guess in our little 607 discussion, one you have referred to so far as 'easy'.

Anyway, care to explain why the WTBS decides to 'change' some of their printed artifacts once they make it into 'bound volumes' or get published in electronic form on a CD-ROM? Have you ever wondered why they publish WT-indices that leave certain materials out from the lemma's where you'd expected them? Examples of that have been given here in the past if I remember correctly.

Probably not a consipiracy (borderline maybe) but it's what we call 'information management'. See the Insight-lemma 'LIE', 2nd sentence, 1st paragraph.
