You folks have learn A great deal about life. I will

add this to what have been said.

    From A great great man.

    1) Follow your curiosity,

"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious."

    2) Perseverance is priceless

"It,s not that I,m so smart; it,s just that I stay with problems

    longer."

    3) Focus on the present

"any man who can drive safely while kissing A pretty girl is

simply not giving the kiss the attention deserves." My father

always says you cannot ride two horses at the same time.

    4) The imagination is powerful

"imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming

attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge."

    5) Make mistakes

"A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new."

    6) Live in the moment

" I never think of the future-it comes soon enough."

    7) Create value

"Strive not to be A success, but rather to be of value."

Don,t waste your time to be successful, spend your time

creating value. If you're valuable, then you will attract success.

    8) Don,t expect different results

"Insanity, doing the same thing over and over again and

    expecting different results."

    9) Knowledge comes from experience

"Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge

    is experience."

    10) Learn the rules and then play better.

"You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you

to play better than anyone else."

    Mr. Albert Einstein

That it was Jehovah and his filthy angels that ruined it, of course expecting me to go to Nigeria and receive damnation from the universe because I didn't listen to Father Satan. Also, the filthy angels are going to block all my input to the universe, and anything good I may otherwise have received from it. Of course, the filthy angels also maneuver my environment so others will not receive me well, and that I will be blamed for their continual blocking of anything good into my life. (Or they will blame poor Satan.)

    I've learned

...that people are forgiving. They really are. People want to forgive. Be honest, take responsibility, appologize.... You are forgiven. You really are.

    So forgive yourself.

...that you should not be too hard on the wild, hyper, active little boys you are raising. You can crush their spirit. They are perfect as they are, love them as they are

    don't be critical.

Escaping from NOW is like suicide.

Live in THIS moment right NOW, always.

You have to forgive your parents to forgive yourself.

whenever you make a big decision to change something in your life, (change jobs, go to school, whatever), the universe will throw all kinds of things in your way that could stop you. That is just the universe testing you to see if you are really serious. Don't let anything stop you.Never, never, give up. No matter what, just keep doing the next step right in front of you that needs to be done to do what you want to do. Pretty soon, the universe will say 'ok, you're serious.' and obstacles the size of mountains will move out of your way like magic..

Most things are out of your control. Only YOU are in your control.

When you are in the middle of a storm, a crisis, it WILL pass. Let go of trying to control what can't be controlled or is not your job to control. stop fighting the current, float on the current and breathe your way through it, one moment at a time....the same way to get through child birth, btw.

Do what you love and never work a day in your life!

    Forgive yourself. Forgive others.

And....you will feel a lot better and lose weight without trying if you give up refined sugar and white four.

Life is a balance between our potential and our actual. The best we can be vs what we are now.

We must know what our actual limits are and never pretend they don't exist.

We have to protect our thinking. We must test the ideas that sound good. We must study what people we don't agree with are saying about

    our pet ideas.

This world is filled with big-mouth know-it-alls who are ready to dominate you, use you, control you and discard you. Don't let them.

We have to learn the facts. Facts are testable. Facts are provable. Learn what facts are and don't fall for mumbo jumbo even though it sounds wonderful.

Look at people who succeed and study how they did it. Determine what your OWN idea of success may be.

For myself, keeping my family close is important. Keeping life small enough to manage is important. Discarding "things" in favor of ideas is important.

Saying a kind word can change another person's day. Encouraging somebody who is down can make a difference. Listening without trying to solve a problem is important.

Don't waste time. Use it to make a difference.

Watch out for people who are negative and try to provoke arguments and who like to contradict others. They are poisonous.

Surround yourself with positive people who try to find a way to agree, support and complement your goals.

Know the difference between reality and unreality. A lie denies you the right to reality.

Your life is mostly a series of choices. Know how to make good choices.

A dollar NOT spent on something harmful is the same as a new dollar earned.

Add up all the crap you spend your money on; the things that don't make you healthy or that waste your time. Eliminate those things and it will be the same as earning EXTRA money you'd not ordinarliy have.

Always use money to GAIN more security, health and opportunity.

Don't WASTE anything you can control.

You can be very powerful if you learn to control your own circumstances. Unplug from the control of mere desires.

Beware things that sound good and that you immediately agree and respond to. Remember that Jehovah's Witnesses peddle a lot of that sort of thing.

Very often what is TRUE sounds awful and we we don't won't to hear it!

    Well, HEAR IT!

@ Terry: overall. Just one thing I'd modify very slightly:

"Always Mostly use money to GAIN more security, health and opportunity."

You gotta blow a little bit frivilously here and there to add enjoyment to your life. Even if it's just a candy bar once a month.

A former Bethelite told me he would walk past the store every day and his candy bar of choice would call out to him. He always said no, until the end of the month when he would have his $.75 reward.

    A good habit, IMO.
