Well say what you want Tally, but it's a GREAT BOOK. My dad read it and bought 35 of them and sent them all over.

Hey I think it's wonderful that he's able to help people. Becuase it takes a lot of energy and strength to be able to help others. Some of us can't even help ourselves muchless take the time to help other people. If he didn't charge *anything* who's gonna pay to print it, bind it, ship it yada yada yada. I Hope he makes a ton of money on it too. What's wrong with helping him make money by buying his book???

Personally I've benefited from Dougs training and willingness to help people and share. Any one that attacks someone who's trying to help people should stop and think about what they're doing or contributing.

Tally I luv ya man and know you've gone through a lot, and actually I think you'd like the book if you took the time to read it. The price is very low on that book too.

I don't understand why you accuse him on one hand of 'slapping himself on the back' and then ridicule him for not being famous or what ever, I'm confused.

I think you just kind of over reacted a bit.

One reason I think Dougs book is great for exjw's is the fact that he's one too, he knows what we've been through, it's one of the main reasons I feel comfortable talking to him.

I luv knowing what other people do for work. Maybe Simon could build a forum that's more of a secular nature. We could post our websites and what we do for work. Who knows maybe someone does something you need or something, I'd like to buy stuff from friends online and then we won't have to worry about this kind of situation.

I didn't mean to attack you - and I'm sorry to say most people on this board seems to feel attacked every time someone tries to promote the fact every case just MIGHT have more than one side.

As I said, I have never read your book - and as a result of that fact, I can't neither judge nor reccommend it. That's not what I was talking about.

I said there are lots of books written by all kinds of people trying to rip off peoples money. That's a fact. I did not say you were or are one of them.

Personally I'm attacked all the time, and I really don't give a flying fart any more. This board itself has gone into a state where good people are leaving, accusations are flying all over the place, and "everyone" is feeling attacked by somebody - no matter what is really said.

Maybe my English isn't good enough. As you know, I'm a Norwegian - and that MAY be the reason you took my sayings as an attack on you - even though it wasn't intended as that.

Facts are, as you said, it's nothing wrong getting payed for services. I don't dispute that, and I don't disagree either. No - I'm not rich. To the contrary, I'm strugling like Hell to keep floating! But I just can't see the relevance of that fact. What I said was that many people are extremely sceptical to anything that will make them a staggering success - simply because such claims are common - and results for people trying the recepy isn't that great - normally.

Where Tallyman got your URL I don't know - and I don't care. I just did read what you said - and I don't think the attack was that unprovoked. In my view you have to expect reactions like than when promoting the claims you do.

I'm sorry if I offended you - and the fact that people are getting offended by everything on this site - and the agression against people I like and love here is more than I think is good, is the reason I'm not posting much here any more.

Unfortunately I believe many others are feeling the same - and I believe the whiners can rule the board the way they want.
