I well remember practically every circuit assembly that I ever saw the accounts for reported (falsely) a deficit
I have NEVER been to any assembly where they declared a surplus (in the black)
It has always been a control thing to try and scrape up a few more "donations" from those not aware of the manipulation
I think they should have one labeled " to help us pay for our lawsuits."

So as I understand it there is a box for WWW, kingdom hall fund, local needs and literature
Please someone confirm about the literature contribution box..Don't want to ask my wife...

There is no literature contribution box. There are three though - www, local, and kingdom hall construction. Literature would fall under www.

Some congregations put a box on the counter by the mags and literature....unofficial intimidation.
notice that some congregations were using the monies for the worldwide work to pay congregation bills...heavens that the lights go out then send the money to NY.
For awhile the WTS had contribution boxes provided at the book studies in the home...what a joke...after 4 months and not a penny, the BOE abandoned that directive (it might have been the CO's directive). The box had three slots....
There are still contribution boxes at our group meetings for field service (former book study groups). It doesn't have three slots, but isn't it the same thing?
Sounds like the elders there are more obedient. So do they get much money? My husband did the accounts so he knew they got nada.
