When I was an elder we were counseled to not draw attention to ourselves in our Public Talks and avoid giving personal experiences. Apparently such rules don't apply to the GB Members.
What exactly was the point of this little "experience" he was sharing? Was there any relevant context at all?
His whole tone in this little snippet is arrogant and cocky. He comes across as thinking he is smarter than everyone else.
I can't believe that he admitted in a public talk to using the term "dummy" to refer to a fellow soldier. What an ass!
