Jehovah knows what he is doing. In the days of Sodom and Gomorrah Abraham was appalled that Jehovah would destroy the righteous along with the wicked. Jehovah assured his friend Abraham that such a thing would not take place. As it turned out Jehovah's angels went to Lot's house and warned them, even grabbing them by the hand and pulling them to safety when the family lingered. Yet, Lot's fellow Sodomites (terrible expression) received no such personal warning. The reason being, that Jehovah judged them to be wicked. And, in fact the men of Sodom proved just how evil they were by trying to rape the materialized angels who entered into Lot's house, thereby forfeiting any possibility that Jehovah might have mercy on them. Jesus said that his presence would be just as in the days of Lot. So your reaoning is specious. Besides, Jehovah has allowed all kinds of mayhem and atrocities in the past to take the lives of millions of people over the years. He has also allowed various empires to serve as executioners of his judgments by their aggression and war-mongering. You are not so special that Jehovah is obliged to intervene to protect you from your neighbor, who just might happen to have a weapon of mass destruction that he picked up at a yard sale.

Why do you always forget that those killed by God in the past not sinned against the Holy Spirit, as even those unrepentant in Capernaum will come back and they were worse than those in Sodom! Being executed by God was not an automatic sin against the Holy Spirit, or casting in to Gehenna. All those who had not sinned against the Holy Sprit will be forgiven according to scripture (Matthew 12:31, 32) Remember Manasseh, even that maniac had not committed the unforgivable sin, as when he tried to repent God forgave him.—2 Kings 21:2-16; 2 Chronicles 33: 10–13

I doubt if your the only one to question his motives. I know I always have. It seems to me he may be deliberate disservice to the WTBTS.
