That's not what they prophecy - er, "preach", although the Watchtower Society would scream bloody murder if they WERE to be taxed - they would claim that it was the beginning of the "Great Tribulation" or "Armageddon" or "overlapping generations" or whatever idiocy would generate sympathy for the poor, $$3-billion $$$ company asked to pay taxes...
If I recall correctly - and this was in the 60's - 70's, so the teachings may have changed a bit, but...
They claimed that there would be a great deal of VIOLENCE as the nations FORCIBLY took ALL of the various churches' assets away.
A little - or a lot of overdue taxation - is hardly "Armageddon".
