  One of our cats loves rubber bands and heavy plastic. And balloons. I have to hide them all. If the balloon is blown up he will try to catch the knot in his teeth - this alone can take hours - and then walks around the house =carrying his prey. When he finally breaks it he takes it to his food dish and leaves it there. He also takes any elastics he finds and puts them in the food dish. And the plastic - he licks and chews. All my bags have kitty teeth marks in them

  My cat Frank, loves to eat my shoelaces. Not just the end, mind you, but loves to eat it right at the knot. So when I go to slip the shoes on the laces become unraveled. I know that if I lost a screw, (okay.. you know what I mean), I can always look in the cat food dish. That's where he usually stashes those and the bread twist ties.

  Now that's a funny story Simon and all the others too. Simon you left two interesting tidbits out of your story. What did Angharad do to you since you were falsely accusing her of stealing your pens? And what the hell are stickle bricks?

  My cats never steal anything(that I'm aware of yet). Doug's cat does jump up on his desk in the middle of the night and start knocking things off....because he wants to go outside. [8>]

  Hey Simon,cats do like to horde things they like to play with.So far its been:rubber bands(she ate some,it looked gross in the litter box.LOL)/Q-tips/my watch/then there was the tinsel off the christmas tree,she ate some.When I went to clean the litter box,the cat shit was glittering in the sunshine..LOL...OUTLAW

  Stickle bricks are bricks, all different shapes and have pointy bits which make them stick together.

  I remember Crash and Andy...those were beautiful cats A little psychotic, but beautiful.

  But damn, I remember that red 300ZX with the T-Top. Remember when we did our girls only weekend and drove it to the beach? You didn't want to drive it because it was stick shift That was a great weekend. Let's rent another one and do it again....what do you think?

  although it's nicer when you do it ... Angharad usually just hits me round the head with a frying pan or half-brick. Luckilly it hasn't has any affect on me so far ... "nurse, they've taken my pills again!"

  One cat horded ping-pong balls. I found a dozen under the couch.
  They were close to 'critical mass'.

  Another cat (Willie) sat near a candle on a window sill. She was
  eyeing Thanksgiving dinner. She swished her tail into the open candle flame and was instantly teleported into the center of the living room.
