@undercover - Over 3 hours, plus another 20 minutes when they called me back in two days later to tell me their verdict.

An impact outside of the ex-JW community would be awesome- that's what the Dissident JW Movement needs!

@BlindersOff1 - Yeah one person said well don't tell anyone how you did it because then all the elders will get a letter from the GB telling them to pat the "wrongdoer" down or inspect their person lol.

@respectful_observer - Elders are told to make mention of their "no recordings" rule in all JCs.

I wondered about that myself. I think on some of those points esp. the one re: undercover elders their morbid curiosity was peaked, Over and over they kept asking about that.

RAYPUBLISHER - just finished five. . . Wow, you are a patient man! I could never put myself through that. Anyway, I really liked your Mormon example, but they didn't seem to get it. That was always something that nagged at the back of my mind. . . here we are going door to door asking people to challenge and ask questions about THEIR faith/religion, and at the same time, I cant go there. Mind control at its finest.

They also kept referring to "the enemy" and "why would you go to the enemy?" Is THE PUBLIC LIBRARY our enemy? Is THE UNITED NATIONS WEBSITE ARCHIVE SEARCH FUNCTION our enemy? Is USING YOUR BRAIN the enemy? Really? REALLY?

Information - that's their enemy.

You really do see how they are "captives of a concept": It's MY RELIGION right or wrong. The Governing Body all got caught on video jerking off to child porn in a government sting? They're just imperfect men - Satan is out to get them. 607 and thus 1914 are both demonstrably false dates? That doesn't change anything, this is still the TRUTH. Amazing.

Hi, Eric!

I just listened through part 5 and I like your reasoning in all ways. I feel a little sorry for " cosmo ", the guy with the glasses? He may need some help one day! I have been thinking lately that sometimes we have to draw a line and say enough is enough. Many brothers can not live and function outside jw world. But they can change their live inside jw world. They can get the strength to say: I will no longer shun my family and my friends. I will no longer be judgemental. I will no longer be an enforcer of the hateful Shepherd book. Enough is enough!

Fellowship is a good thing! Living a life of love is good. Taking care of the sick, elderly, our children and the poor makes life meaningful! Praising God and life is good! So, maybe the time has come. Enough is enough! Time to draw a line. NO more threatenings of each other, no more hate, no more JC !

I actually had a glimmer of hope for Cosmo in that meeting. I liked that he kept saying that if he realized something was wrong he WOULD leave. Fantastic! The younger elder on the right just seemed like a newer elder. Very ignornat of many things. An elder would NEVER leak inside information. Obviously Eric was believing impostors.
