I think the Governing Body will do a lot of public Shadow boxing as they claim more and more authority,, denial and repression will increase in order to keep thier delusion in place.

Expect more big blunder from those boys riding the delusional organizational chariot of Jehovah.

“I used to think that only a change of personnel on the Governing Body could potentially lead to the meltdown of the organization, as young savvy and intelligent GB members realized that it was all a sham and started taking the brave decision to wind things down over time.”

    - When jackasses breed they produce new jackasses.

    - When jackasses inbreed you end up with screwier and screwier jackasses.

Today’s Governing Body is the result of five generations of inbreeding jackasses. These guys are getting screwier and screwier.

One day Watchtower’s Governing Body will find itself on the outs with those holding legal charge of the organization’s corporate interests. It’s just a matter of time.

Thanks for your always good commentary.

However, don't underestimate the number of JWs out there who know their doctrine and already have doubts. Hearing this "new light" might just be enough to tip a good number over the edge and stimulate them into doing research on websites like jwfacts.com. It may not be millions, but hundreds? Even thousands?Quite possibly. I can see this causing a big dent, put it that way. We'll only know by keeping an eye on the figures over the next two or three years. One thing's for sure, if people do leave because of this - it will be the Governing Body's own doing.

    cedars-

...all your qualifiers sound an awful lot like those you accuse the wt of overdepending on...

Qualifiers are often necessary, such as when your evidence or your claim is open to doubt. In such cases, using a qualifier allows you to present your findings with what we can call “confident uncertainty,” which reflects a need to be cautious and critical about the data you’re presenting.

...it seems you are doing the exact same thing the wt is, and just as you belittle it for 'hijacking' the faith of the r&f, I also accuse you of bringing your r&f to your wordy essays and presenting them as facts...

...your 'attacks' are laughable to avoid describing them in more important terms...it is comical to see you swinging at decoys when underneath what you call a mere cult places its elements in place to guaranty its missions' success to the very end...DON"T underestimate the wtower's capacity of influence and tactics ...don't understimate the 'oath' that MANY have made to keep this entity stable at any cost...so that its piece of this world's puzzle is well in place...

...you stated that you've made it your mission to bring this wt to its end...every 'cause' needs its opposer Cedars...it seems you, like many, have fallen neatly into place...

The observations are well rounded to me and leave very little to doubt if utilizing a mind not impeded by permafrost.

    You just contradicted your arguement.

It appears you are the one who has fallen neatly into place. After all you are participating here.

Let's talk about the "elephant in the room".

I have noticed that apologists will almost always resort to similar ad hominem attacks, instead of tackling the issue.

Cedars you wrote a masterful article that is spot on. The GB is the perfect combination of a group of leaders that are not only arrogant but ignorant as well. This combination tends to be incredibly dangerous. The examples you mention are perfect examples of how they are self destructing. In the last year look at how many people have joined this site, or even how many people are missing from the meetings and service. No matter how the Branch cooks the books they are in decline. Anecdotal evidence shows that they are bleeding out in numbers of adherents as well as financially.

Elephant, the things that these men are doing are indefensible spiritually, legally, and morally. If they were representing God like they claim they wouldn't be directing attention to themselves and protecting pedophiles. They are false prophets who are responsible for destroying peoples lives. Their policies steal childhoods, break up families, kill people, and socially handicap their followers. All in the name of God. Try to defend that, and you act like a defense attorney for a war criminal.

The Governing Body are liars, through and through and they are so good that they can fool incredible minds such as you Cedars and many on this forum. The Watchtower has NOTHING to do with religion, it has to do with economic security of an elite class and their occultist hobbies. What you see in your studies of the GB are 100% fronts. Think about it, looking like idiots is the perfect cover. I too have been studying the GB, but from a different approach. The reason why the Watchtower forbids magic is because they are the only one's that they feel are qualifed to use it, so they do in secret. I have a lot of reasoning and evidence for this, but frankly I am tired of having to defend myself against accusations of being some backwoods conspiracy theorist so I will just assert instead of explain. This organization is actually part of a larger web and they are bent on global domination. They are not what they seem. If we lose sight of this, they win.

Hello Cedar, I did enjoy reeding your post. A very clear analysis of the Society including the latest events.

    I’ve retained the following:

This finally happened with Candace Conti, and the Society suffered arguably their most damaging legal defeat in their history back in June.

    Great factual point indeed.

The now-infamous October 1st letter, in which the Society is actually taking on even MORE liability in the handling of cases of alleged child abuse than ever before.

Very true . More damaging than ever due to its circulation on the www

A flawed decision based on a flawed perception of reality.

That’s what happen when you think you know it all.

Only the more cynical would ever realise that there is actually no link between the anointed and the Governing Body, and in that respect they have been self-appointed cult leaders all along.

The more people will be well informed about past

    “ teachings/doctrines/views “ the worst will be for the Society;

My own father's reaction was slightly more intriguing. He said he would need to look at the explanation given to see if it is sound enough.

The same reaction I’ve heard from some of my friends when I related the content of the annual meeting and gave written copy of the GB statements.

Furthermore, the revised teachings of the Society make them less credible for future potential converts with critical thinking skills in this information age to accept. In short, it was a bad move. A VERY bad move.

As I’ve alredy stated , the best weapon in this “ doctrine”s war is the …w w w

They have bought their own publicity, and are acting accordingly. I obviously can't speak about Mark Sanderson, because he's new on the scene. However, the other 7 strike me as being naive, deluded, vain, pompous, arrogant, and frankly lacking in intelligence.

I might be wrong but sometime the face “speaks out”. He looks like a “ Yes, Yes, Yes “ man.

However, a benign, smiling "yes man" who doesn't know too much would fit right in, so I can imagine this being the basic profile that Governing Body members look for in making new appointments.

    They do because ythey wish to retain “p o w e r “.

Anyway, great reading of very interesting material, concise and well written. Keep on Cedar, but take care of you and your family.

    Greetings,

    J.C.MacHislopp
