If you were looking for an evil mastermind, I would point to Splane as a far more likely candidate. He speaks with an unnerving calmness and a slightly glazed look in his eyes - quitessential bond villain if you're searching for one. And he reportedly speaks French! I could just imagine him holed up in a mountain-top fortress somewhere in the Swiss Alps stroking a cat.

    ...

...Cedars...tsk, tsk...what's your 'beef' with the French now?...

...i guaranty this is going to induce a few chuckles..

Thank you Cedars well written and easy to comphrend. Your thoughts provided some ammo to use when my husband gets wind. A great way to just throw out questions and hopefully he can marinate on them.

Sorry Elephant, that comment about the French was intended for people with a sense of humour.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm not remotely interested in what you have to say. Nice try though.

''I'm not suggesting for a moment that the Governing Body members should be likened to Hitler, nor am I remotely insinuating that they should be assassinated!!''.

Of course not, because '''We are not living today among nations where such Governing Body members could be exterminated as was possible and was ordered in the nation of Israel. Being limited by the laws of the worldly nation in which we live we can take action against them only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with the law. The law of the land forbid us to kill them''.

The now-infamous October 1st letter, in which the Society is actually taking on even MORE liability in the handling of cases of alleged child abuse than ever before.

Very true . More damaging than ever due to itscirculation on the www

    -----------------------------------------------

I find this absolutely crazy that the Legal Dept. would let the Oct 1st letter leave the ivory tower making them even more liable for the future...I am dumbfounded by it. Unless the Lawyer Bros. are like "ah f$%k it' Let the old bastards screw themselves..." It's just so weird.

Here's a question for you - if the GB is hell-bent on global domination, how are their interests served by becoming MORE cult-like rather than pursuing the Mormon model and steering the organization more towards mainstream Christianity? Refusal to bring child abuse policies into full conformity with the law and cult-like clampdowns on internet mockery stand at complete odds with the LDS church's passive tolerance of the "Book of Mormon" musical and dabbling in politics. Thanks in part to Scientology the world is becoming progressively intolerant of cults. Any cult that wants a long-term future needs to be moving closer to mainstream religion, not away from it. In that context, how do you interpret the Governing Body's increasingly hard-line approach?

That's a very good question and one I have often asked myself. For a long time they have been very interested in making sure the public isn't on to their "cultyness", if you will. This agenda is being systematically lowered in priority because they understand they cannot compete with the internet (you and I), but that doesn't mean that they didn't always have a larger agenda that they continue to inch forward with. I know it sounds sensational when I say things like "world domination", but just because something is sensational doesn't make it false, it just makes it suspect to being false. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and that's why I am spending so much time studying their mind control (what I have presented on this forum is just a small fraction). The best way to do this is to read their literature both past and present. Also, it's important to keep in mind the current events from the times of each article being read. The Watchtower says they are politically neutral and this could not be farther from the truth. They are in actuality a political party themselves with a clear agenda not the least of which is survival. They know the landscape of the world is changing and they are well aware of the agenda of an umbrella agency that the Watchtower is under. It's this invisible agency that are the actual world dominators, not the Watchtower. Simply put these people are students of the mind which is reminiscent of the Nazi Party and entities like it. To control the world is not to control money, but to understand the inner workings of the mind which all humans have in common.

The Watchtower is a chameleon entity who change colors based off whatever regime is currently in control of the environment they find themselves within. Before they had reason to look like a religious organization, but as the world changes so will they. What will happen is that they will slowly change themselves and before anybody knows it they will be accepted again, that's why the truth about them needs to be uncovered once and for all. They are a disease to us all and an enemy of the State.

As far as "Dr Evil's" go the real one's are outside of the Watchtower in the Secret World Order. The Watchtower is just a puppet as are the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, they could be dropped like a hot potato and it wouldn't adversly affect the global agenda, however that doesn't mean they don't serve a deep purpose.

If you think about it the Watchtower is into murdering people especially children, but why would any organization have that as an agenda? If you do some research on the Georgia Guidestones you should become aware that there IS a depopulation agenda group that exists on this planet. If you wanted to impress this group you'd show how many people you can kill and get away with. In the end everybody wants to have a new world where their ideology rules, but only one ideology will prevail and that is the one of love and cooperation, not death and destruction.

Yeah, that's because the WTBTS HASN'T increased their liability; they've actually decreased their risk exposure at the front end by requiring elders to notify them of suspected "predators" (that should be obvious to anyone who knows even the basics of law who gets into the details of the policy).

DON"T underestimate the wtower's capacity of influence and tactics ...don't understimate the 'oath' that MANY have made to keep this entity stable at any cost...so that its piece of this world's puzzle is well in place...

Elephant, if the GB is the FDS "whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season...[and whose lord has] set him over all that he has" (Matt 24:45,47,The World English Bible) why would they have to resort to "influence and tactics" to keep the "household" in check, would the household not stay loyal without the use of "tactics" seeing that the FDS would be looking out for their interests and keeping them fed?

As a JW, I don't recall taking an "oath.. to keep this entity stable at any cost." Plus, if they have been appointed to that position by Jesus, is it not the responsibility of Jesus to "keep this entity stable at any cost" and not that of the "household" (whomever they may now be)?" Your comments don't hold water or make any sense to.
