Have a serious discussion with him to try to help him. Be strict that if he doesn't change his ways soon you will separate. I suppose he won't so be patient. April is not far. Post here, go to other forums, the time will pass quickly.

Take courage and join our revolutionary forces.

Are you renting from a private owner? I'm a female and I own rental property. As a victim of an abusive ex-husband, you'd be released if you shared this story with me and I wouldn't care WHAT religion you subscribed to... Believe me, some owners would rather release a tenant than have hell brewing in your building. There are landlords who would release you from your lease given the circumstances.

Even if your lease is with a management company, it might be worth the request.

from personal experience, I say get out now. Go tell your landlord the truth, you may find him/her understanding. This guy won't leave. You'll have to be the one to get out.

For your own safety, just move.

You feel sad now, but you'll feel relieved when it's all over and you are safe. I guarantee it.

Welcome Jetsetter: My heart goes out to you. I don't know what the laws are for commom-law relationships in your area. In some areas you are considered "married" if you are living together as husband & wife. Please find out so that you don't end up financially responsible for this person when it's finally over. just because someone was a JW in the past doesn't mean they can't loose all the moral decency they use to have

That assumes they ever had moral decency in the first place. Liars and hypocrites are found everywhere; putting on a good act for outward appearances is their game.

You gave him a second chance, and a third, and then some. He blew them all. If you keep doing the same thing, it will not get better.

Tough Time's, best to remove him and stop enabling him by giving him accomodation, and a peice of yourself. Hard initiallty but thoroughly worth it, get YOUR life back!
