Yes, "witnessing" use to mean: spoke to someone about your faith...the definition of witness is to observe something (like "yes officer I witnessed that guy piss on that car."). They take a lot of liberties with language.

I know others have mentioned it, but i just want to join in... oh dear gawd, how I HATE...

I would have to say that of all the lingo they use the phrase "wait on Jehovah" and "stumbling" were the ones I hated most of all.

"Wait on Jehovah" is just a way of keeping people from thinking or doing anything constructive to change a bad situation. The word "Stumbling" was a way to manipulate people with guilt to keep them on edge so they won't 'offend' certain individuals who in some instances use it as emotional blackmail.

" undeserved kindness" is a big one for me. If Jah is the Heavely Father, doesn't his children DESERVE his kindness? What kinda crap dad is he anyway???

"Truth" HATE it... misleading to the point of explosion.
