Hello, would anyone know or a guesstimate??

Also, will they have assemblies to discuss , or will it all be covered in a Sunday talk and WT afterwards??

I heard a rumour that something about it was going to be published in the Jan 15th Watchtower, but obviously that hasn't happened.

I can't see it being announced or discussed at Circuit Assemblies / SADs because this would further stagger the flow of "new light", meaning that some congregations get to hear about it whereas others don't.

If the Society has an ounce of common sense they will confirm this new understanding as soon as possible in the very next Watchtower study article. However, even if they get it out in the Feb 15th magazine next month, the new light will have been floating around on the internet for well over a month before all the brothers have gotten to hear of it. Whichever way you look at it, it's a shambolic and ill-considered way to dispense such seemingly important "spiritual food".

Don't be hasty. You have to see it in print before you say anything to a JW.

Even then, only go by what is in print. Some comments on Noo Lite by over enthusiastic ex-dubs isn't supported by the grammar and context of the articles in question.

If you really want to make an impression on Dubs, you must make zero mistakes.

    You've answered a question that wasn't asked.

He, Black Sheep, makes a bloody good point though Cedars, if we get one point wrong, just a wrongly used word, everything we say will be ignored totally by JW's, it could damage all your hard work, and that of others if we jump the gun.

Lets debate on here about it, but wait till we have it in print before we speak to JW's

It will be interesting to see if by the time it gets in print they have modified it somewhat, in which case it strengthens the view that they monitor this and other sites.

Would that mean that Holy Spirit is working through us to them? LOL

It could take months. They might wanna play this down. If so, it might be mentioned in a way that the average mezmerised jw won't even pick up on it. They sometimes do that. Afterall, this wasn't released at the big summer convention where new is usually presented w a bunch of hype.

Phizzy - it would take a conspiracy of monumental proportions for the information we've received to be wrong. It would take a U-turn of similar proportions for the Governing Body to divorce themselves from this "new light" and not put it in print having announced it at their Annual Meeting, and they would lose more in credibility from such a move than they would stand to gain. I personally see nothing wrong with talking to relatives about it, but of course people are more than entitled to differ with this viewpoint.

I believe the ridiculous teaching about the TWO (2) OVERLAPPING GENERATIONS was 1st mentioned at the October, 3, 2009 Annual Meeting. But it wasn't printed until a few moths later (April 15, 2010 Watchtower)... so I'm guessing we'll see this in print by December or January (on either the March 15, 2013 or April 15, 2013 Watchtower)... It will certainly NOT be mentioned in the Public Edition at all...

    'No Clergy Class'

"Everyone dedicated to God is equal in His eyes. True worshipers are all brothers and sisters. God did not appoint an elevated clergy class. Jesus said: “Everyone that exalts himself will be humiliated, but he that humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18:14) God will judge adversely those who through religion elevate themselves over others.—Matthew 23:4-12."

The "New Light" in the study article will likely be the last sentence or two of paragraph 17 or 18 and most will not even know that there has been a change.

If anyone questions it, he will be told that it is just a clarification of what we already know. The sheeple will nod in agreement.
